Installing the Plugin

After purchasing the plugin, you should receive a purchase receipt via email. This email will contain a link to download a .zip file of the plugin. Save the .zip file onto your computer, then login to WordPress.

Then, navigate to Plugins » Add New and click Upload. Click "Choose a File" to open the file browser and select the ultimate-book-blogger.zip file, then press "Install Now". Once installed, activate it, and then you’re all set!

Getting Started

There are a few things you may want to do immediately after installing:

#1: Enter your license key

Your license key activates automatic updates. Navigate to Ultimate BB » License and enter it in the box. Then click "Save Changes".

When the page refreshes, you'll see a new button next to the license key box called "Activate License". Click that to activate your license key. It should then say "License activated successfully!" in green.

#2: Re-save your permalinks

This step shouldn't be necessary, but it's good to do it just in case!

Navigate to Settings » Permalinks and click "Save". You do not have to make any changes and this will not affect your links in any way. All you’re doing is refreshing the permalinks, which is needed to avoid some 404 errors within the plugin.

#3: Select your categories

Go to Ultimate BB » General Settings and find the "Review Category" section. Select the category you place all your reviews in.

Then do the same for the "Giveaway Category" and, if applicable, the "Blog Tour Category" (only needed if you've turned on "Blog Tour Support").

#4: Register for Google and Goodreads API keys

This step is important if you want to be able to fetch data from Google and/or Goodreads automatically. You can follow these two guides:
